What you can ask us

Any question about making something with AI, from your first image to a product built on our API.

Character consistency

The same face, hair and outfit in every image and scene, and the same product or logo from shot to shot, with identity sheets, reference images and targeted edits.

Results that don't look AI-made

Skin, light and camera that read as real, not glossy or generated: which models get closest, how to describe a real photo or shot, and voices that belong in the scene.

Picking the right model

Flixly has 164+ models for image, video, audio and 3D. We tell you which ones fit your idea, your format and your budget, and why.

Writing the prompt

How to describe the subject, the camera, the light and the sound so the model makes what you mean, not what it guesses.

Fixing a result

A misspelled label, an extra finger, a shot that moves the wrong way: we tell you whether to edit it, try again or switch model.

Length, size and format

Aspect ratios for each platform, longer videos, upscaling, SVG files, transparent backgrounds and audio formats.

Credits and cost

What a generation will cost before you run it, and the cheapest way to get the result you need.

Changing what you already have

Dub a video into another language, make a clip longer, remove a background, or fix one part of an image and leave the rest untouched.

Building with the API

API keys, price quotes before each call, webhooks, SDKs, and the Flixly app for ChatGPT and Claude.

Questions like yours

Eight typical questions and how we answer them. We tried each answer on Flixly first; the guide shows what it made.

How do I keep my character's face and outfit the same in every scene?

Our answer

Build the story in Story Creator. You approve one image of each character, it draws a six-view identity sheet from it, and every keyframe takes the face, hair and outfit from that sheet. If one scene drifts, redraw only that keyframe.

Create consistent characters

My video looks AI-generated. How do I make it look real?

Our answer

Start the keyframes from a photographic image model such as GPT Image 2.5 Sunburst by OpenAI, and let a video model that speaks, such as MiniMax H3 Max, voice the lines in the same pass as the picture. That is how we fixed the glossy, generated look of our own live-action episode.

Try GPT Image 2.5 Sunburst

The text on my product label came out misspelled. Do I have to make the whole image again?

Our answer

No. Open it in Ideogram 4.5, draw a box around the label and describe the correct text. Only the box is redrawn; every pixel outside it stays the same.

Edit one region of an image

My printer wants the logo as a vector file, but I only have a PNG. What can I do?

Our answer

Use Ideogram Vector. Leave the prompt empty and it traces your image into an SVG, or describe a new logo and it draws one as an SVG from the start.

Make an SVG

There are so many video models. Which one should I use for a moody night scene?

Our answer

Run the same prompt through two of them in Compare, with identical settings, and keep the one that looks right to you. In our rain-and-neon test, Kling 4.0, Kling 3.0 and Seedance 2.5 spelled the sign correctly and Veo 3.1 did not.

Compare models side by side

I made a video in English. Can I post it in Spanish or Japanese in the same voice?

Our answer

Yes. The Video Translator dubs it with VEED Dubbing: the speaker keeps their own voice and their lips move with the new words.

Dub a video

I want a moving background for my website, but a video file is too heavy. Is there another way?

Our answer

Describe the loop to Motion to Code GLSL. It writes a shader instead of a video: a small code file that loops seamlessly and stays sharp at any screen size.

Turn motion into code

Can a person in the video wear or hold my actual product?

Our answer

Use reference-to-video in HeyGen Video. Add a photo of the person and one of the product, and describe the scene. Both keep their look from shot to shot.

Make a video from references

How it works

  1. 1

Tell us what you are making

Describe the goal in a sentence or two: what it is, where it will be shown and the format, for example a 9:16 video of 10 seconds for Instagram.

  2. 2

    Add what you have tried

If you already generated something, include the model, the prompt and a link to the result, and say what is wrong with it.

  3. 3

Get answers, guidance and a test

We reply with the model and settings to use and a prompt you can start from. Then we guide you through it, and we can even test it with you on Flixly until you know what works.

What to include for the fastest answer

  • What you want to make and where it will be shown
  • The size and length: aspect ratio, seconds, resolution
  • The model and the prompt you used, if you have tried already
  • A link to the result, or what is wrong with it
  • A reference image or a link to a style you like, if you have one

Ask your question

Write in your own words. We read every message, reply by email and guide you from there, and we can test it with you.

We only use your email to answer you.

Questions about getting help

Is help from the Flixly team free?

Yes. Asking a question costs nothing, and you don't need a paid plan or even an account. You only pay for the generations you choose to run, and Flixly shows the cost in credits before each one.

Who answers my question?

The Flixly team. We work with the models on Flixly every day, read every message, look at your example if you send one, and reply by email.

Will you test it with me?

Yes. If you want, we test your idea with you on Flixly: we try the model and settings we suggest, look at the result with you and guide you through the next try until you know what works.

Can you help me keep the same character in every image and scene?

Yes. Tell us about the character and where it drifts. We show you how to use one approved image or a six-view identity sheet as the reference, which models hold a face best, and how to redraw only the frame that changed instead of the whole story.

Can you help my results look less AI-generated?

Yes. Send us the result and say what looks fake: the skin, the light, the motion or the voice. We suggest a more photographic model, the words that describe a real camera and real light, and a video model that speaks the lines inside the shot, and we can test the change with you.

How fast will I get an answer?

Usually within 24 hours, by email. A question that needs us to look closely at a specific result can take a little longer.

Do I need a Flixly account to ask?

No. Anyone can write to us. If your question is about something you made on Flixly, send it from the email on your account and include the link to the result, so we can see exactly what happened.

What can I ask about?

Anything about making images, video, voice, music or 3D with AI: keeping a character consistent, making a result look real, which model to use, how to write the prompt, how to fix a result, formats and sizes, cost, and the Flixly API.

What if a generation failed or came out wrong?

A generation that fails is refunded automatically. If one finished but looks wrong, tell us what you expected. We will explain why it happened and how to get it right next time.

Can you help with the Flixly API?

Yes. Developers can ask about API keys, quoting the price before a call, webhooks, the SDKs and choosing models for a product. The developer docs cover the basics.
