Kling 4.0 and Kling 4.0 Flash Are Coming to Flixly

Kling 4.0 and Kling 4.0 Flash are coming soon to Flixly. We are preparing to bring the next Kling generation into the same workspace where creators already make videos with today's models. This is a preview, not a launch notice: Kling 4.0 generation is not available on Flixly yet.

On its official release page, Kling AI says full Kling 4.0 will launch in October and Kling 4.0 Flash entered limited early access on September 28. It describes major upgrades in visual realism, creative control, narrative coherence, audiovisual quality, multi-keyframes and lip sync. Those are the publisher's claims; we will assess real Flixly output when access opens.

Kling AI lists 3–30 seconds, 720p, 1080p or 4K, up to 10 keyframe images, two-channel stereo, up to 15 combined reference items, and text-to-video, image-to-video, first/last-frame and Omni Reference modes. It also lists 10-bit HDR for 1080p and 4K as coming soon, so HDR should not be assumed available at launch. A multi-round video extension workflow up to two minutes is also marked coming soon.

Why multi-keyframes matter

A first and last frame tell a model where a shot starts and ends. Multiple keyframes could let a creator place meaningful beats between those points: a character enters, reaches the product, turns, and lands on a closing composition. The real test is whether the generated motion joins those beats naturally while preserving faces, objects and lighting. Kling AI’s release page confirms up to 10 input keyframe images for Kling 4.0. We will verify how the control works through Flixly when available.

A more complete audiovisual scene

Realism is more than a sharp still. A believable clip needs motion that respects the scene, a character who remains recognisable through camera changes, and speech that belongs to the face on screen. We will evaluate Kling 4.0 against that standard: continuity across cuts, visual detail under motion, dialogue timing, sound design and lip sync. These are areas of expected improvement, not measured Flixly results yet.

Kling 3.0 already introduced multi-shot storytelling, native audio and up to 15-second clips. Kling 4.0 therefore needs to earn the upgrade in actual output rather than by repeating a feature name.

Kling 4.0 Flash

Flash is coming too. Kling AI lists text-to-video, image-to-video and Omni Reference, with 3–20-second output at 720p 8-bit SDR. The company positions it for faster, frequent creation. We will publish Flixly pricing and measured render times when the integration is ready.

What happens next

When Kling 4.0 opens on Flixly, we will update this post with Flixly-supported modes, credit quotes and example output. Kling AI has already published the full model’s headline specifications: 3–30 seconds, 720p/1080p/4K, up to 10 keyframes, two-channel stereo audio and up to 15 reference items. You will be able to check the exact credit estimate in the generator before starting a render.
